Ah, the drama that was my physics H3 term test (episode 2) is finally over. The reluctant procrastination repelling me time and again from studying; the ominous feeling which immediately followed later that night as i realized that my brain was as empty as a bamboo basket filled with water; frenetic last minute mugging on the day of the test itself; the escalating fear as the hour approached; breaking out in cold sweat as my gray matter attempted to recall things i never remembered in the first place; and then the relief as the test paper left my hands and the adrenaline left my head. Life is such an wonderful thing that even its worst sufferings are simply so... invigorating. Life's imperfections perfect the imperfect perfect life. You really have to experience it first hand.
Of course, i shall, in the spirit of the game, whine like everyone else. Yeah, life sucks. Life is tough. Exams can go to hell. Or it can go to heaven. I don't care where it goes, as long as that somewhere is a place which is conveniently out of my sight. In fact, i would rather it go to heaven. I know i haven't been a good boy, making blasphemous comments on my blog and never being a "conscientious learner"(aka bloody mugger). So i would probably go to hell. Since that is a very real possibility, i certainly would not wish for exams to end up in hell. Let those muggers mug all they want, be the good boys they want to be, and when they die and go to heaven they can mug some more. Yeah, same applies for books, worksheets and all the things commonly associated with hard work. They are good things and deserve nothing less than heaven. On the other hand, computer games, TV and unhealthy fast food are among the worst things that happened to the earth. These nefarious demonic artifacts create negative externalities by being evil temptations, and deserve nothing less than the 18 levels of hell. The place that i will go to when i die. And so the ranting continues as i expound on how even hell could be a decent place, especially when i take into account this horrendous life i am living.
Deep down inside though, all of us are simply hypocrites. We really love this "torment" more than any rock we see lying on the roadside. Despites the complaints we are alive, and we always make our best attempts to stay that way. People like to label the masochists as abnormal and perverted. Yet (though most would deny it) they fail to see that it is born of the very optimism which they promote so strongly.
Life sucks, but contrary to popular belief, stones and vacuum aren't mutually exclusive. Life rocks because it sucks.
