Ah, an unhealthy overdose of optimism… But who cares, for health isn’t a concern for hedonists at all, seeing as how you are, eventually, going to die anyway. Indulge in the most generous servings of happiness and enjoyment. To hell with mugging and other such sufferings, let them be reserved for our time in hell, if it even exists in the first place. Life is but a temporary curse placed upon the unfortunate; they are cursed and polluted with the desire for it. Yes, what is yours is yours and what is not yours will simply escape from between your fingers like water from a bucket weaved with rattan. That is life. No matter how desperately you grasp each second of it, however hard you try to fill it with suffering in expectation of a better future, the ultimate fate is inescapable. Death is what you rightfully own. You have lost it for the few years, the years that “the creator” (as some might still believe in) stole from the greater authority; the one that ensures peaceful and meaningless existence.
The malevolent entity that cast this curse expected you to writhe in pain because of what you cannot achieve. Be the rebellious, defiant teenagers you should be, and turn your lives of suffering into sitcoms; let the evil being that let loose this cursed existence be punished by the sudden realization to accomplish what he set out to do, and let us, the victors, revel in our nihilistic glee. Do so, by leading an empty, purposeless and meaningless less life, purely comprising the most superficial and most natural joys and pleasures.
When life hands you lemons, cut that hand and squeeze some lemon juice onto that hand. Revenge is sweet.
A little amendment is in order: Life rocks not for everyone, only for those who know how to enjoy it. Or perhaps you’d rather be a slave of anguish and misery.
