kkk by popular demand, i shall present my witty and humorous(hopefully!) account of friday.
It was a friday morning, that kind of morning which you know would be sunny but just isnt sunny yet, because the sun hasnt made its way up the horizon yet. Usually people like to connect sunny and bright mornings with singing birds and cheery moods, but as we all know its really different down here in RJC. By the time we were done stoning at our respective OG places all of us realized its gonna be a sucky morning, since there wasnt rain like the past few mornings. in fact there wasnt even a single dark cloud visible in the sky by 7.35 am. If you are wondering whytf im talking about the weather, its cuz this is an important part of the plot that i am about to unravel. In case the dear reader has sub par intelligence or has been living under a rock for the past few months (or perhaps both), it might be highly enlightening to note that no rain means morning assembly, which sucks.
Back to the story, its wonderful, really, having first three lessons as lectures, especially so when you have learning journey later on in the afternoon, since the class can get ample sleep in the comfortable air-conned LT before having fun later. Unfortunately for me, due to the 3 hour period being broken by having to switch LT and me being frozen (RI shirt and shorts isnt much winter protection)i was unable to get any sleep :S. Then we were heavily exposed to propaganda about CIP, and pretty much everyone was bored except perhaps LAU FUN aka CIP REP. When the clock struck 12.30 we were all overjoyed cuz it meant learning journey would start soon!
Remember the good old days in RI where learning journey meant visiting some stinky trash furnace in senoko or some mosquito infested fort canning or some weird museum in the middle of nowhere? well apparently this time we're visiting the sunny little sub-island paradise of SENTOSA!!! (Mebbe some ppl are still going to stinky kingdom or mosquitoland this year... too bad, u have sucky CT reps who choose sucky places) All was wonderful... well, except perhaps for the sunny part. remember what i said about the sunny cheery morning? well apparently the rain was really well timed. by the time we reached sentosa it was overcast. when we were walking up fort siloso it began to drizzle, and soon it was crazy cacophony as members of the canine and feline family starting dropping from thick grey clouds hanging over us. though the majority of us werent really rained on, we werent really to explore the outdoor areas of the fort fully(aww)anyway it was damn lame seeing my classmates doing random stuff like trying to squash the basket ball and volley ball and soccer ball down the barrel of the guns, or climbing up behind the guns and placing his body so that he seems to have an impossibly humongous private part (the gun). Then we had the tour and here i must really give credit to the tour guides, our dear class comm, who despite having to go through the crapload of schoolwork and tests just like the rest of us, managed to plan a nice tour of the place, and not screw up on the day and have everyone stuck at one place because of the rain. The wax figures were mostly quite nice, except for one indian soldier which was apparently not done properly since he had the features of a caucasian and black skin, and kovan was like laughing at the poor wax guy. We went around the place and its obvious some of the tunnel exhibits are not maintained properly since we saw this big empty room doing nothing. lol and there were some workers doing something in another room and we all thought they were fake figures too -_- on the way out we were playing the game "i never" but then its not fun anymore cuz everyone had found some gender specific exploit to own the other people, like "i have never played dota before" and "i have never wore hairbands (the elastic kind) before". Then we went to this nice little part of a restaurant near underwater world to fill our feedback forms, and almost everyone wrote that fort siloso needs more shelters. After that it was random chit chat and card games, and some ppl went to play at the beach.
After that the class went to food republic at vivocity for dinner. i bought this bowl of ba chor mee and the stallowner gave me too much chilli, and i was like dying from the spice. so i went to buy some watermelon to cool down, and apparently i was not full yet so i bought some popiah to eat. Simply because of that people think i eat a lot :( i must really start dieting in school so that my reputation as a glutton is destroyed. Anyway here comes the funny part. amongst the random suanning (with the girls as targets, obviously since they hadnt been through the 4 hard years of getting suaned and having to counter suan the guy who suan you back every single time you kena suan) at the dinner table, we suddenly moved onto the topic of chopsticks. i was like demonstrating how powerful my chopstick grip was, being able to open up as wide as the bowl, so it means my chopstick can pick up food the size of a bowl. then somehow kovan thought i was trying to show off being able to pick up utensils with the chopsticks, so he started trying to pick up my spoon in my empty ba chor mee bowl, with little success. then some classmate of mine from the somewhat mentally inferior gender got tricked and started trying to pick up her spoon in her big bowl of hot soup. apparently this smart classmate went on to submerge the whole spoon into the soup, rendering the spoon unusable.(oh btw sorry i really cant tell you that this smart person is hanyu or she will be angry at me and kovan)
After that we went to the skygarden to look at the sky and the sea. Whoa, the night scene is really nice, with flying cablecars of random colors and nice big towers and the merlion with its glowing eyes in the distance, and a big cruiseship close by. unfortunately the clouds had not cleared yet and the romantic full moon was nothing but a bright patch in the sky. i accidentally wet junwei's basketball, and i was like dribbling the ball through parts of the ground which still had some puddles, avoiding the puddles. kovan wanted to do the same, and he was like dribbling the ball through this part with double the amount of puddles. i was like saying "whoa kovan so pro can dribble the ball through so much water" then a few seconds after that he screwed up and smashed the ball right into this gigantic puddle. we then went to EZONE but it was a great dissappointment since it was really small and had nothing much to play. some of my classmates played air hockey for one game and it was really crazy towards the end of the game where they were playing with 3 pucks on the field. Apparently the place was quite hard to navigate since we had to walk through the carpark to get to candy empire. Some girls got some balloons, and we began to continue our class tradition of smacking balloons such that the balloons fly down and smack the girls' heads. After that we went to candy empire, but everything was too ex so i didnt buy anything. After that it was getting late so we went home.
Well, every good story should have a good ending and a good moral of the good story after the good ending, but im too tired after writing all this crap and you should be tired too, after reading all this useless crap, so lets cut the crap and let me get some sleep. goodnite.
