Ah, finally managed to log in after a long long while... somehow blogger is damn frigging lag for me...

Anyway, ill probably post, like, 5 times more if posting is as easy as tagging, so shida no nd to be pessimistic :D

I guess since no one has posted anything about it yet, ill share my (largely negative) personal experience at the SRP selection test.

Basically what happened was that each of us were required to select (almost) any combination of subjects out of maths, physics, biology and chem, and then on last saturday everyone sat in one big LT in NUS and did the same paper, doing the sections indicated by our previous choices. However, what was weird was that regardless which sections we chose, we were given the same paper and same amount of time of 1 hour to complete our sections, and the worse thing was that there was no instruction whatsoever which was made clearly which indicated how the results of the test would be interpreted. Due to this, it turns out that however they choose to rank the ppl taking the test, a great number would be unfairly disadvantaged. There was a great gap between the simple questions and difficult questions, and if MOE chooses to rank us according to the %age of correct answers in all the sections selected (according to some china scholar in my class), then GG for junren since he chose 3 sections and only did maths... but if they take the score of each subject and compare, GG to me, since i tried to go over all 3 sections I chose quickly and answer as many free frags i could before moving on to harder qns...

Seems ironic that a selection for a "Science" program should be so unscientific.

Moving on to the brighter things in life, i think ill be able to blog more from now on, since i've managed to log on to blogger once, i should be able to do it again, so expect more involvement from the great omnipotent one!
