fri nite i went to esplanade to watch some dance called the french connections. i tink they use french music or sth tts y they call it tt. went wif royce, michael and bingwen. haha royce ask me to go n i nv go watch aniting at esplanade b4 so just go and see see. the place dam crowded sia.... all the angmohs and singaporean couples down there. found my way to the theatre... got the cheapest seats. got abt like 50 chij pple go watch also... and their seats are like dam front row...shld be abt $50+? they are in sch u....shld be school subsidised the cost...duno y so kind...the dancers are mostly foreign talent... only 1 singaporean sia...they had 4 dances in store for us...ok dun rilly understand wads the dances abt...alot of abstract stuff la... but quite cool watching dem perfecting their moves. after the dance we walked ard den realised got some music festival going on at the singapore river...the beautiful lights there and so mani pple at night it looks dam romantic. n got 1 thai rock band singing some quite nice songs which i duno hahas. pple were cheering and clapping. dint noe singapore got sth so nice...i felt like i was in another country lol. den go back abt 12 den slept quite soon after...

haha today went escape! fun sia. do the boat tingy, was screaming when RUSHING down the long long slide...screaming was so fun. den water lag a while b4 totally enveloping us. got a bit wet, den also got do the viking and some rides. dint do many rides lor....all the fun rides spoiled. not scary wan. go cart dam fun sia...first time we went i tink we started wif shida firz, den lz, ben, me and kok. either ben's car too slow or i too skilled i drive awhile in the firz bend overtake ben liaos. but ben was still quite close... we sped down the steep slope and went for our second round. den me lz and ben bumped together in a fierce bid to overtake one another. haha we were laffing like siao. den forgot wad happened in the 3rd round i overtook lz...den saw shida giving chance at the top of the slope. den i dint noe wat he was doing den overtook him and realised i was firz. so i became too smug and accelerated all the way down the slope and turn dam fast. oops. accidentally banged into some stuff when i was like only 3 meters away from the finishing line. my cart landed nicely right angled to the wall after a few bangs and the noob cart was not able to reverse and i cant turn with my car front literally stuck to the wall. so i was stuck there.
stuck. saw shida, lz, ben, and kok slowly overtake me and finished. den the guy in charge came and gave my cart a pull den i finally can drive to the end. :( got suanned like aniting hahas. dam funi also. dint noe can be stuck lydat:(
2nd time we queued up for the gokart is even more fun. now the competition is only between me and ben. ben went juz b4 me got quite a bit of headstart. but coz i chose the right cart again i tink and i sped mercilessly w/o braking at the downward slope plus some dam cool tyco drifts at the bend i got real close to ben at the second round. haha. almost can overtake him on the left where he left some gap... den ben went to block me and my cart bumped into his. den my cart lost all its speed den haf to reaccelerate which was visibly slower. den at the slope sped again den at the turn could feel me and ben's cart drifting together and few bangings into each other again. but still cant overtake him. at the last round ben dam aggresive pushed me to the right den i used the right lane to go inside the turnings...tink im the only one who did tt hahas. i was still behind him then and at the last round of going down the downward ting i accelerated at full blast again...den his cart was more to the left of the slope so i used the right and at the drifting part again my cart finally forced his behind coz we are turning to the right so my cart nd to move less distance. hahas so i finally overtook him at the last bend and finished in front. the reckless driving and speeding and attempts to overtake and the bumpings and the drifting tingy were all dam fun hahas. wun mind paying 4 bucks to try tt a few more times.

den after tt i went for chess comp at potong pasir. my luck finally ran out. i won my 2 games at the firz two games after some sweat. my coach even came to me and said tt he din noe my ending game was so good and he wan to learn from me. he's dam cool lor i tink he's sth lyk the national champ. n nv put on airs and so nice. den the 3rd game played wif some pro hwa chong guy...aiya was having advantage from start to middle game. he kept shaking his head den i suddenly realised i dun haf much time and recklessly played for a few moves. just like the gokart. and somehow lost a piece n the game. later our young coach gd come and analyse wif me haha....even said i was owning liaoz and teach me how to own more. haix if only i nv screw my last few moves up. den realised got a 4th game todae. i was dam sad coz i lost my game...was even aiming to win every1 agains lor haha. so this game i playing wif some xinmin sec guy n every1 xpected me to win. i was already feeling dam sad when i playing den he sumore keep humjing use the same piece to keep blocking me n i cant attack. den finally tot i can win when i ate his shi. den in the end i cant stand it anymore i almost instantaneously played after his move den realised tt i just gave a free che away. and the game as well. :(:(:(. so i got 2/4. i dun even wan to go tmr. haix national champ dreams shattered. but i will still be going to play my last 3 rounds tmr. hope i can get 5/7 and top ten. if not....den gg again:( this term dam unlucky. even hols also.
