hi guys, shall blog abt my chess comp on sat.

on fri nite i called the pple participating up to meet at yio chu kang mrt at 815. den i woke up on sat morn found out got flu den arrive quite late. muz apologise to the pple waiting for me. k ri send 3 teams, 1 team wif jw, wt and lz, another team me, ck and jon sim (xpress) and third team is some other pple.

den we start playing our firz round. i forgot my team vs wad sch, budden we all won. all our opponents time drop. i got clear advantage but quite narrow. just got few more bings in the end lol. anyway my opponent time drop i no nd to tink how to kill. den i heard some other pple say our team quite pro lol.... den second match, third match and fourth match my team won overall. i won these 4 games and ck lost a bit. jon sim surprisingly gd keep on winning oso. my games quite easy duno wad my opponents doing... giving free stuff and trapping themselves. den fifth game we play vs river valley. i thought at firz i might lose my game coz my opening anyhow play (nv bother to fix openings this time) so at firz lost out a bit... den managed to find a counter den my opponent screw it up and i won a piece. den he screw up sumore and i checkmated him lolz. but sht ck and jon sim both lost so we lost our game overall. den we were quite sad la... coz our winning chances less liao. then the fifth game we play vs maris stella. jon sim a bit tyco won fastest. den ck won. so i no pressure... i losing but the guy duno how to win so my turn to attack den i win... den heard their sch say me and jon sim tyco... ask y our sch always tyco one ... lol

den the sixth game we play vs the currently leading team called hwa chong institution. they won all their games and got a good but extra coach who help them in every way possible. i play wif the plump captain from their sch... he is quite famous for owning and being plump. and i lost to him b4. but tt day i sick so i dun really care or scared. den after a while jon sim won. quite surprising. den ck lost. i used ping feng ma on the plump guy and then i supposed to sacrifice my ma to gain advantage... but i haven sacrifice yet he duno y scared like shit keep on retreating his attacking pieces lol... retreat until in front of his king den i just use some pieces to block him everywhere and gained a shi... seems small but quite impt. den i got quite some advantage in attacking den he trapped his own pao also for some reason. so i was a piece up and attacking like siao and he sorta get owned. the match surprisingly easy... so we were like wow we won the leading team... den we became the leading team liaoz. lol. den after tt the coach go and scold them a bit and the plump guy cried a bit. oO

den last game was quite sad. if we win we champs liao. but i becoming more sick (as in ill) and tired and ck say he dam tired also so we just 'fix' a draw wif our opponent. let hwa chong get firz we content wif second. den after tt realised tt we got $160 in borders voucher... tot is cash lor qutie cheated.
