haha i just back from a 10 day math immersion trip to beijing:D so i shall start blogging on it

k la b4 i start, although this is a blog rite... supposed to be like a diary lydat.. but alot of pple can read lor... so although i really want to write all my feelings on anything and everythign abt the trip budden with all sincerity, got some stuff i dun dare to write la. yet. hope u understand. juanhe will support me on tis *grins.

k la i just start writing. so b4 u go beijing u must go singapore airport firz. hope every1 noes tt. den my mother kiasu make me wear longjohn and long sleeve shirt firz coz beijing is quite cold la. budden the clothes she gimme all look so sissy lol. btw there are i tink 12 ri boys and 16 rgs girls going la...in the airport duno y the rgs teacher make the girls wear the uniform or sth... poor tings lol...tt time we were like duno any rg girl yet so we just go the plane and talk among ourselves. and when we got the tickets i was like... shit! i am sitting wif sengteck!?!? lols. luckily he dint irritate me tt much...quite impressed wif the sia facilities there... budden movie cannot fastforward or rewind wan... quite stupid....so when i remebered there are movies to watch its already like half the show gone liao... so forget it...and the movies are not engaging enuff la

den we reached beijing. got firz sense of chill haha. i was like shit! so cold the wind...scared i fall sick....den after a while den i felt it to be quite shiok haha. den we went to stay in the hostel of this renming university or sth. quite funny we were given a food card each of abt 100+ rmb. 5rmb is abt singapore 1 dollar. the money supposed to be provide us breakfast and lunch for abt 9 days:D haha den i tink we eat dinner at restaurant den we go back our rooms and sleep. its like dam cold haha coz our room chao tyco dun haf heater control:( .... haf to use the aircon make the temperature warmer lol...doesnt sound rite eh?

now i write abt the rest of the days la. i cannot put like wat happened for each day coz i really forgot lol. if u wan u can go read sengteck's blog abt a week from now lol....he takes 1 day to blog each day of the trip... but plz read wif discretion coz his interpretations are more often than not distorted. haha u understand la. den we attend some math lesson den we go to wadevr places of interest in the afternoon for 5 consecutive days haha.... i rmb like 2nd or 3rd day we went shopping... den there was tis sweet girl called kristel asking me to buy sth for my mum... budden seriously my mum doesnt seem to like aniting at all except clothes... if i buy wrongly she sure say i waste money lols....for the first few days some guys are already actively interacting wif the girls already... budden i was like quite dao haha :( must learn from kovan or shida soon. after firz few days tings got better la. haha.

den i rmb go some 'shopping center' got many individual shops. i went to buy an orange shirt. really pleased to haf bought it. duno y i like the color orange, mayb it fits my character or sth haha. and oso i need sth to wear for the days we spending there coz my other clothes are like dam thick and suffocating. den i oso go buy 2 jerseys la haha...1 juventus 1 ac milan... liverpool wan not so nice so i dint buy haha...jokes

since night fall quite fast about like 5 pm so everyting was quite dark very fast. den we realised we had a recreation room on our floor haha so we went to play table tennis there. got some china scholars... er i mean chinese students playing there liaoz. so we singaporean scholars got wai sum (a boy on our trip la, in case u all duno who he is) to thrash them so they get out. haha he proz from table tennis cca ma. den u all noe i nv play table tennis before so at the start i was like high angling every ball haha. budden each night i tink i became much better liaoz... can smash quite easily... can do flying smash oso :) look quite nice heh. nxt time i see julian playing i can go suan him liaoz:) ... haha budden juanhe is still better than me... tink he played quite a bit before... he was already quite gd la... i rmb 1 time dam funni... his partner lousy put the balll so high for me to smack.... den i fake tt i going to smack it real hard den juanhe move all the way back...in the end i tap it lightly across the net den juanhe run all the way back in front oso too late... shld haf seen his face dam funi.

den for the nxt few nights the girls from the top floor came down and joined us in the recreation room la. besides pingpong we oso play cards and maybe some board games and stoningz. too bad cannot find any china students to play chinese chess wif me:(.

den 1 day we supposed to go great wall of china den most of the girls and part of the boys came down with food poisoning or sth. they kept vommitting but duno is wad food they ate coz we all ate almost the same tings. so got a few funny white-clothed 'doctors' came to like inspect all the rooms coz they scared is some kind of spreading flu or sth. tt was quite interesting haha. budden the sick people very poor ting they see doctor den remained in the rooms. so the great wall of china trip was postponed la to a few days later. den me juanhe and a few other boys helped to service the food and the cutlery and stuff for the girls who fell sick coz we heard tt they were too weak to walk. guess tts all we can do to help haha. and they were oso quite appreciative la.

i tink the next day every1 recoveredz. oh ya forgot to say tt all of the boys were talking wif a 'z' behind our words...like andrew lim lydat la. but our intentions were not to suan him la... just for fun. den we became so addicted tt even when i talk to the teacher osoz sayz likez thatz. hahaz. even in chinese oso. quite funi:p. talk to girls oso lydat lol. duno whether they can make out wat i was saying. heh tt was quite funny.

den 1 night sth happened. 1 of the girls when playing ping pongz fell down. i tink i was the firz to notice tt and subsequently she dint manage to get up on her own so sth was amiss la. by then every1 else noticed liaoz. so the girls helped her to a chair quite fast den every1 was crowding around her. but its like every1 dint noe wat to do. i wanted to help la budden duno y i stunned there for quite a while. tink the last time i helped an 'injured' girl was last year during a mixed red cross camp haha during a firedrill. and the fact tt she happens to be quite cutez din make my job easier. admittedly i was quite nervous la.

so this juanhe helped me out a little. he said 'eh! we got a red cross guy here!' den every1 was like looking at me like wth!? oi u red cross take so long sia. tt was seriously quite funiz. yea and sorry redcross, all the firedrills tt i practised din really work out for tt moment, sure score negative for urgency. haha den i remember kristel say 'eh, u red cross arh? sure or not?" lolz or sth like tt. den juanhe helped me and say 'maybe he's in the exco' haha. yea and the girls obviously dun understand our language, coz she ask again if maybe is realy maybe or a yes haha. so we got in the teachers and i carried out the normal procedure la... elevating her leg and applying deep heat on her kneez. down there got no ice ma so haf to settle for deep heatz. paiseh din dare to apply so much coz i quite nervouz at tt time. yea n the teacher brought a knee guard for her to keep her knee in place so i cannot show off my proficient bandaging skills (haha joking)...but i tink she's dam bravez man...she actually put her dislocated joint back by herself...not pain meh? haha. poor her had to limp back up 1 floor to her room...she still can walk a bit budden still need some help...yea den i noe from my experience tt lydat she juz nd some support from her frenz la...budden pple not convinced ask me to do ... haha like i got some special powers lydat... so i just tried human crutch on her for a few steps just to demonstrate the irrelvance of it lols... yea and i felt quite sorry for her la... guess every 1 did.. coz she had to walk wif a limp throughout the trip and the knee was starting to get swollen. yea and i would like to remark that this should not be taken as a reference for first aid standards in ri haha. i promise i will do better nxt time.

yea den i rmb 1 evening most of us went to play soccer haha. imagine playing soccer in jackets. den tt time already quite dark so quite hard to see. me and juanhe decided to sacrifice our shoes as goals since no1 wanted to. it doesnt seem to be any sort of sacrifice in the ri astroturf, budden our feet felt the stiinging cold even wif our socks on haha. sengteck goalkeeper for the opposing team haha. juanhe was in his team oso. tink our team lost. only managed to score once haha. another time i rmb during a throw in i throw the ball right at sengteck and duno how he fondled wif it and it went in. lols! den after the game feel dam shuang but dam cold and hot la... coz i sweat den canot take off jacket if not sure freeze heh. so i cant stand it liaoz immediately rush back to take a showerz.

i tink the nxt day we got a test on the math we learnt tis trip. juanhe, being the ri maths club chairman wif alot of reputation, obviously had to mug. duno y tt nite i felt dam tired and the only ting i could do was play ping pong or sleep. so i went to play ping pong haha. den read a bit den sleep. no1 noes i supposed to be quite gd (srry being frank here) so i din bother to maintain any reputation by mugging for preparation. o and sengteck created his own reputation for himself by showing off his skills in all the math lessons. seriously he dam irritating lor sometimes i want to do qns by myself he come and kachau me and shout and shout. din bother to listen wat he shouted lol. just asked him to get off my back more politely than u all can imagine. (not sarcasm)

so the morning we did our test. lol so simple. excpet 1 qn where it seems tt every1 cannot doz. haha den we got back. juanhe was top scorerz. he can heave sign of relief liaoz haha. i tink i not bad 4th or sth. but lost to sengteck a bit. 1 girl quite pro win me and sengteckz. just need to be more meticulous and write wads required coz some problems i noe how to do but din noe need to write some extra stuff. den got 1 calcuation error oso. if not can get secondz. first still leave for juanhe la haha.

yea and 1 day our group of ri boys were attached to 4 students in the school dere. 2 of them were dam funny... their conversation was full of jokes...mayb not jokes la but wat they say is dam funny. every1 was saying that both of them can do a 'xiang sheng' together. haha true. they brought us to fragrant hills and we climbed 2300 steep steps. kao its seriously dam tiring. i tink 1 of 2 of us were not very fit and the good juanhe and waisum helped him along. but din realy noe abt tt coz i was in the faster group. den when every1 of us reached the top we go buy a medal and took a group photo haha. shld haf planted a flag there manz. chao cool. den after tt 2 of our guys (including sengteck) took a walk down and the rest of us used cable car. i decided to take cable car coz it was like dam exciting wif no cover and everyting haha and the whole sceneary in front of us... sumore i film a video there. halfway through the cable car ride i almost wanted to jump off when we reached low ground and walk the rest of the way coz onli after u reached the end den need to pay $$. haha jokes. but obviously i din dare to do tt. yea den after tt day quite reluctant to say gdbye to our china frens haha... they seriously quite nice and funi:p... even the female teacher in charge was like sooooo nice!

den immeidately the day after we go to the great wallz haha. amazingly great wallz was much less tiring den the fragrant hills. duno y nv walk too much yet den dead endz liaoz. but some of the people even worse. walk a bit reach dead end tot its really the end lol. actually got another path to go and reach another end oO. den again we buy medals and took a grp photo there. but it is seriously freezing cold there haha. den we walk all the way down and i still go buy ice cream to eat. the chocolate supposed to b brown budden open become black as charcoal haha.

den the last night we go spend the whole night playing polar bear and murderer wif all the girlz and boyz togetherz. quite fun la. for the polar bear game not really clear of the rules lol ... just noe tt i was the guru. tt dam easy la i just keep on naming the polar bears and watch them getting killed 1 by 1. haha then the pple are like wth? y u noe? so i said obviously coz im the guru. haha den everybody was like suanning me like crap coz lydat obviously the last polar bear sure kill me liaoz. budden amazingly i wasnt killed in the nxt turn den i kill the last bear den won. quite funi sia. for murderer oso quite funny. at the start my fren deshawn sitting beside me asked me if im the detective. budden i murderer so i decided there is no better way to tell him tt other than winking at him. so he died like almost instantly after the game started. den another guy beside me was like asking me y he die so fast. so i scared he find out so i wink at him again and he died again. so at the start already 2 pple beside me died. tot its quite obvious im murderre but no 1 knew haha. den after tt killed a few more den almost every1 was disappearing from the circle den the detective decidedd to tyco and choose me as murderer. :(

den after tt we played a mass card game called mao or sth lydat. i tink ard 10 pple was playing tis game together. its like u supposed to make ur own rules abt players putting cards down. so for example ur rule is tt the player supposed to say 'hello, im a noob' whenever he put down cards wif odd numbers. u not supposed to say the rule directly out, but mayb when he put a 3 u supposed to say 'failure to say 'im a noob'' den gif him some penalty. den when pple put 5, 7 , and 9 u supposed to gif the same penalty. so soon every1 will start to understand ur rule. den there were like so mani rules going abt its so hard to abide by all of them. juanhe the pro can detect all the rules and enforce them even when the guy who made the rule didnot. so when it was my turn to make a rule i decided to make it simpler for every1 by keep on saying failure to say 'jun ren rox' for every card tt each player put. haha tt was quite funiz.

so we played until 6am in the morningz den went to sleep for 2 hours haha. den after tt we pack our stuff, say goodbye to the china teachers and students there and flew backs haha. we had our lunch in the airport and the food and drinks were like twice as ex as starbucks. ya den in the china airport we saw some spanish big fat guys smoking haha. walao airport still can smoke. despite the discouragement of the teacher me and juanhe still went up to them and ask them stop smoking. luckily they did stop and did not bash us up. haha. den in the plane i found out got intial D movie which i had wanted to watch but dint haf the time to. tt movie was really engaging man. wont mind watching it again. after watch finish i tried few other movies but none were half as engaging. so went to play some gamez and sleepz.
